Keepsakes
Keepsakes imagines a world where memory becomes a soft place to land. A warm, romantic escape built from the objects, stories, and folklore that shape us. Inspired by the designer’s childhood, Ghanaian day names, and the storytelling spirit of Anansi, the collection bridges parallel worlds: heritage and modernity, craft and play, nostalgia and adulthood. It celebrates the small relics that connect us, family photographs, jewelry boxes, shells. Things our ancestors held close and we continue to hold today.
Within this world, tailoring becomes cultural continuity, and folkloric imagination becomes a form of connection. Keepsakes is pride, identity, comfort, and universality; a reminder that no matter where we come from, we share the same seeds of memory, joy, and belonging.
