FROM GOLD COAST TO EAST COAST

 

In this docuseries, Kwasi Paul trails the creation of familiar spaces in a new world, and explores the common areas that fall in between the lives that was left in order to build a hopeful future. The collection explores the paradox of hustle culture versus finding comfort and familiarity in a new world that many African immigrants faced in the 90s era. The collection is an ode to those who migrated to America and built a world around their own identities.
